Sector 16 belongs to the same early cluster as 17, 18 and 20. It is a sector where the buyer profile is split between end users and people holding land against the institutional and commercial build-out planned around it.

Buying in YEIDA Sector 16
The process is the same across the corridor and the order matters. We verify the allotment at the authority, pull a fresh no-dues certificate, confirm the lease status and check the physical demarcation against the sanctioned layout plan. Only then do you pay a token.
After that comes the authority transfer, the lease deed intimation, the registry at the sub-registrar and the mutation application. Budget stamp duty at 7 per cent for a male buyer, 6 per cent for a female buyer and 6.5 per cent joint, plus 1 per cent registration, on the circle rate or the transaction value, whichever is higher. The possession letter typically follows about 60 days after registration.
Rates on this page are indicative for August 2026 and change every quarter. Call+91 98199 81337 for the live number and what is actually available in YEIDA Sector 16 this week.
