- **Tenant police verification.** Delhi Police require the landlord to submit tenant details for verification. It is the owner's duty, not the tenant's, and the form is filed with the local station or online.

- **Society and RWA formalities.** Many colonies and apartment complexes ask for a tenant intimation and a copy of the agreement before move-in.
